About The Shed / Contact

After enjoying city life for many years – first in Boston, Massachusetts, then in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania – my husband and I recently settled down in Little Egg Harbor, New Jersey. As much as we embraced the history of those cities and living in old buildings, our current home was only one year old when we purchased it.

Many of the projects I write about on this blog are centered around our home and gardens.

You'll find crafty tutorials, some practical and some much more whimsical.

And plenty of plant and garden suggestions.
(I don't like to use the word "advice" because I'm not an expert - I just love, love, love to garden.)

And mixed in will be occasional . . .

 . . . crafty giveaways

. . . advice for your blog and Etsy shop

 . . . cat pictures

 . . . occasional shameless self-promotion

 . . . more cat pictures

. . . and my thoughts and musings too!

You can read more about why I started this blog, and why I chose to call it The Shed, here.

  2. Hi Laura,

A group of us at work have been collecting items to send to you via UPS but they don't drop off to p.o.boxes. Is there a physical address that we could send our items. Our employer is paying the shipping on their ups account so that's why we wanted to do it this way. Thanks so much!!

  3. Thanks so much Aubrey - to you and your coworkers - for your interest and support! The only physical address for Socks for Sandy is the P.O. Box set up at our local post office. They will accept all shapes and sizes of packages, and are keeping things in a special section for me in giant mail bins that I pick up each day. UPS does not deliver to post offices, unfortunately.

You can read more details about shipping on the Socks for Sandy FAQ page here: http://petscribbles.blogspot.com/2012/11/socks-for-sandy-faq.html
